Take for example, a premier Microsoft certification for developers, the MCSD certification. Five exams are required to achieve this coveted certification. The Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) calls for 21 days of classroom instruction for MCSD certification training which you can expect to pay roughly $295 a day (A five day course will run around $1495). This cost does NOT include travel, hotel accommodations, nor food, so expect to pay an additional $200 a day if you cannot find a training location nearby.
